Come for the activity. Be clear about your intent. Respect the other person’s boundaries—online and offline.
Be genuine
- Use your real identity and accurate age, interests and activity details.
- Do not impersonate people or organisations, manipulate participation or misrepresent your intentions.
- Create activities you genuinely intend to host and cancel responsibly if plans change.
Respect boundaries and consent
- An invitation, activity acceptance or chat membership is not consent to romance, physical contact, sexual conversation or contact outside AldSocial.
- Accept “no”, silence, a declined invitation and a block immediately. Do not repeatedly contact someone through new accounts or other channels.
- Do not share another person’s phone number, address, images, messages or private information without permission.
Keep AldSocial safe and welcoming
- No threats, bullying, stalking, harassment, hate speech, discrimination or encouragement of violence or self-harm.
- No sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, nudity, sexual services or content involving minors.
- No dangerous challenges, unlawful activities, weapons promotion, drugs trafficking or instructions intended to harm people.
- No scams, deceptive fundraising, pyramid schemes, unsolicited promotions, spam or pressure to move conversations elsewhere.
Host responsibly
- Explain the skill level, cost, equipment, accessibility, venue and material risks clearly.
- Use fair approval criteria consistent with the activity description and applicable law.
- Do not disclose private meeting details publicly when the activity is intended to be private.
- Act promptly if a participant behaves unsafely and contact emergency services when necessary.
Raise a safety concern
AldSocial does not currently provide an in-app member or activity reporting or blocking control. Email [email protected] with truthful, useful context such as the activity, username, date and what occurred.
An email starts a review; it does not itself stop every interaction. Leave an unsafe activity or conversation and preserve relevant evidence where doing so is safe.
For imminent danger or suspected crime, contact local emergency services. AldSocial support is not an emergency service.
What happens after a violation
Depending on severity, context and history, we may warn a member, remove content, limit discovery or messaging, cancel an activity, suspend or terminate an account, or cooperate with lawful authorities. Severe conduct may result in immediate action.
